Barack OBAMA, during a speech in Cairo, announced to the world:

“I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America’s story.”

Strangely enough, that is not the way I remember American history. In fact, I have a very hard time recalling any noticeable contributions to America, and her historic past, that has been shared by the Muslim people. Therefore, I would have to ask Mr. Obama exactly what Muslims he is referring to?

Were there Muslims that were in America when the Pilgrims first landed? I really don’t remember anything about them in the history books. In fact, I thought they were Native American Indians.

It might have been Muslims that celebrated the first Thanksgiving day? No, again I have to say those were Pilgrims, and yes, Native American Indians.

I have looked very carefully, and for the life of me, I cannot find even one Muslim signature on the United States Constitution, the Declaration of Independence, the Bill of Rights, or for that matter, any other of our founding document. Not one! Doesn’t this strike you as odd, if “Islam has always been a part of America’s story?” It does me.

Maybe it was the Muslims that helped us fight the English for our freedom. You know, came in at the last minute and saved us from that terrible King George.

No. Seems to me that was the French. Much as I hate to admit it now, but it was not the Muslims.

Could it have been the Civil War? Did Muslims fight during the Civil War? No, I don’t think it was then. Muslims had no part of freeing the slaves in this country. As a matter of fact, Muslims, to this very day are the largest traffickers in human slavery of every race, including their own. Mr. Obama’s own half brother, a devoted Muslim, still advocates slavery, even though Muslims of Arabic descent refer to black Muslims as “pug nosed slaves.”

Now that I really think of it, there were even precious few Muslims that contributed to any part of our countries way of life even through the late 1960’s. Where were Muslims during the fight for Civil Rights in this country?

There is no photographic evidence or news paper stories accounts about the legions of Muslims walking side by side with Martin Luther King, Jr. If memory serves, the Civil Rights movement have pretty much calmed down before anyone even heard of Muslims. Even then it was a boxer named Cassius Clay changing his name in order to avoid the draft in America. Called himself Muhammad Ali, so he wouldn’t have to serve in his own countries Army. Sure says something for Muslims doesn’t it?

They would have never been a part of the Woman’s Suffrage era. We know very well how women are treated under Muslim law.

During WW II they aligned themselves with Germany against us. The Muslim grand mufti (don’t ask) met with Hitler, reviewed his troops, and accepted support from the Nazi’s in killing Jews.

I could probably go on and on with this, but I think you get the point. Yet there really was on time when the Muslims had a very profound effect on American culture. It was in the morning of September 11th, 2001.

On that day, Muslims changed the history of America forever.

On that infamous day, they flew two commercial aircraft, loaded with passengers, into World Trade Center , another into the Pentagon in Washington DC, and only by the grace of God and a number of heroic passengers, another went into a field in Pennsylvania. In all, killing more then 3,000 people on our own soil.

As if this was not bad enough, they were rejoicing all over the Middle East. Try as he might, even the wondrous Barack Hussein Obama cannot dispute the coverage from all over the Muslim world celebrating on camera for CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and many others. The very same “moderate” (as you call them) Muslims who’s backsides you bent over backwards to kiss in Cairo, Egypt on June 4th were utterly silent post 9-11. To most of us, Mr. Obama, their silence has indicated their approval for the acts of that day.

And THAT, Mr. Obama, is the “rich heritage” Muslims have here in America .

Oh, I forgot to mention the Barbary Pirates. They were Muslims also. We can also add the slaughter of American soldiers at Ft. Hood. Also the endless attempts to bring down civilian aircraft in the U.S.

Is this the “Muslim heritage” that Mr. Obama wants us to embrace?

Should anyone be interested, by the way, all this “Muslim heritage” has been brought to you by Mr. Obama, Bill Clinton, and Jimmy Carter. The Muslim’s go spanked right and proper, each time they messed with a conservative President. Yet every time a Liberal President came to office, the first thing they did was gut the military. Next thing you know, America gets slammed for it.

Now I will not call Barack Hussein Obama a Muslim as I do not have any solid proof of that. I will say, however, that he seems the most sympathetic President toward them that we have ever had. This sympathy of his is going to cost us, and I do not mean in taxes alone.

Honduras Independence Day is the 15th of September, they started their celebration on Sunday, Sept 6th which is Flag Day. From Honduris.com :

“President Roberto Micheletti led a ceremony at which the national flag was raised, and where he renewed his oath of office. The event took place in the presence of members of the Cabinet, Representatives of Congress, the Supreme Court, Mayor, and members of the Armed Forces”.

“I, on behalf of the Honduran people, all organizations, all groups, thank God for this opportunity to thank our national army, our police, the civic democratic union and all organizations in Honduras that have a leading role in the struggle for democracy, to maintain peace, to maintain the pride of our nation, to maintain the institutions, which is what is most important to us Hondurans,” Micheletti announced”.

Honduras sounds like a happy and peaceful Caribbean country in Central America. However, this country is currently under attack from both Hugo Chavez and President Obama over the removal of President Zelaya, who was arrested by the military and sent into exile to Costa Rica on June 28th.

Obama asked of us to: “Judge me by the people with whom I surround myself”. He has now been in office for 9 months, enough time for us to also judge and at the very least question his international and foreign policy. Is he supporting our allies or is he now starting to support those that US found to be allies nor have we supported in the past?

Since June, Honduras made some political decisions that neither Chavez or Obama have approved. From what I understand from reading various articles on Honduras, their Constitution allows a President one term. If ANY President even voices that he wants to change the Constitution to allow himself to stay a 2nd term, he automatically forfeits his Presidency, and is to be removed from power.

Zelaya, a left wing liberal, was seeking to change the constitution to allow him to stand for re-election. The Supreme Court ordered his removal, and Honduran Congress voted to remove him for “manifest irregular conduct” and “putting in present danger the state of the law. The Congress later swore in its new leader, Roberto Micheletti, as the head of state until their election in November. When they removed Zelaya, the Obama administration wanted him to be returned to his position.

On August 6, 2009, an article from TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras titled: “U.S. drops call to restore ousted Honduran leader“, states that the Obama Administration has backed away from its call to restore ousted Honduran President Manuel Zelaya to power. The new position was contained in a letter to Sen. Richard Lugar , R- Ind. , that also rejected calls by some of Zelaya’s backers to impose harsh economic sanctions against Honduras”.

By August 10th, Honduras proclaimed: “Freedom Wins!…Castro, Chavez, Obama, Ortega Fail to Prop Leftist Thug Back Into Power.” It’s notable that Chavez has been referred to as mentor to Manuel Zelaya, the ousted President.

The Honduras proclamation of “Freedom Wins” was short lived. Obama now agrees with Hugh Chavez who supports the return of Manuel Zelaya , exiled President of Honduras who was removed from office under the order of their Congress based on their constitution. Thousands of opponents of Hugo Chavez marched against the Venezuelan president across Latin America on Friday September 4th, accusing him of everything from authoritarianism to international meddling.

Obama who was against “meddling” as he stated during the violence in Iran after the questionable re- election of Ahmadinejad, has now placed sanctions on Honduras. On Thursday, September 3th, Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton cut off more than $30 million in aid to Honduras and may make additional cuts by as much as $200 million unless the government that ousted former President Manuel Zelaya reinstates him as their leader. At the same time the administration restricted visas to Honduras while instating new rules for Cuba which allow unlimited family travel. Could this be because Obama has determined the Cuban government to be more democratic and legitimate than Honduras, with a constitutionally elected government?

As stated by a Honduran citizen:

“Let the people of Honduras prevail in their rights to protect and preserve democracy and their Constitution. The world, particularly the United States needs to respect the voices of the majority of the people of Honduras”.

Honduras News has published their Constitution translated into English …. click here for the “Honduras Constitution in PDF format”.
