McCain got 46%. 47% of the voters within the U.S. who voted, did NOT vote for Mr. Obama. “WE” didn’t do anything, it is the stupid Progressive, Liberal, Socialist useful idiots who voted Mr. O into office. He will not get a second term……

When a diabetic needs an operation for an implant there screwed, It’s not there fault that this kind of thing happens to men? Are they going to bring this benefit back at some time and point? This is really a need for some Diabetic men like myself!! Mr. P.

Thank you for addressing this issue- very well written and to the point. You are correct – when we don’t agree with this administration, we are called names – mainly, racist and nazi. How the two mesh is hard to understand so you have to realize the person doing the name calling has no earthly idea what a racist is or a nazi. On the other hand, their are so many “followers” and if this administration decides those who disagree are racist, then by God, we are. We know that is not true – we are just not willing to be lead blindly into servitude for the government. And unfortunately this attitude seems to be catching on more and more since the race card is played constantly. Shame on any administration that would set this country back.

I agree with your points. In the local paper this morning in Letters to the Editor a question was posed- “Do you find it strange that the man who was going to unite America now appears in a YouTube video asking young people, African-Americans, Latinos and women to unite behind Democrats in November?” While I CERTAINLY DO NOT endorse this book but sometimes you need to know the stategy being posed by obama and his bunch. In Rules for Radicals (I bought used so royalities would not be paid)
obama’s pal, Alinsky wrote: There is a reason for working inside the system. Any revolutionary change must be preceeded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging atitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and chance the future. To bring on this reformation requires that the organizer work inside the system, among not only the middle class but the 40 per cent of American families – more than 70 million people – whose incomes range from five thousand to ten thousand a year. If we fail to communicate with them, if we don’t encourage them to form alliances with us, they will move to the right. We must find conservatives who believe in this country, the people, the constitution, the Bill of Rights and get them in office. We must not let this brand of government continue. We must try to influence the same folks this administration is seeking out.

I had done the same research you did on Marcelas Owens’ story, and his mother’s history. This lady had been politically connected to Murray for a very long time before she got ill, and also did not get “sick” because she lost her job. She was sick before her Jack in the Box job , and did in fact receive medicaid treatment, fully and completely, for her illness. She didn’t get sick because she lost her insurance. That is pure hype. Patty Murray continues to “warp” the truth to spin her dem. agenda. Some of us do check her facts.

I truly understand where the writer is coming from. I do not want to want months to see a doctor nor do I want a doctor who is is being told what he/she can or cannot do by the government. We all know the government’s track record. First of all, I am 70 years old in good health, however, I had knee surgery about six years ago, the “repair” didn’t last long. I finally had to start using a cane to walk and I had about two no more than three good hours a day. I finally saw another doctor at the urging of my primary care physician. After an MRI, things were put on a screen for me to see and understand. I had bone rubbing bone and it was chipping the bone. The surgery was difficult since so much repair work had to be done from the previous surgery. Bottom line, I have a new stainless steel knee, I cannot do the things I used to do YET, but I work out at a gym 2 hours a day, I watch my diet and if anything, a bit underweight. I have dance lessons scheduled to start in May and a very busy summer of going. I have as much energy now as I did at 50, yet this government will tell me – should this healthbill pass – that I cannot have a new knee, I will be “put out to pasture.” I did have some out-of-pocket expense plus I have my gym expense every month. But for a better quality of life, it is worth it. Who is the government to make a decision about my life or anyone else’s life when all they are going to do is look at a piece of paper and the first thing they will see is my age. At that time, it will be stamped – REJECTED – and sent back. Now mine is not life threatening but when you take an active, healthy senior and refuse medical service to improve their quality of life – this is a death sentence. Today’s seniors are yesterdays 50′s. We do not need to be put out to pasture when we are still full of life and everything we can possibly do to to stop this bill – we need to do it. And we all need to make a difference at the polls this year. Also this administration is counting on us having short memories in 2012. Some of us may not still be around but we need to make sure our children are aware of what is facing them and our grandchildren. I agree, Fire Congress, The Rookies can do no worse – and if they do, we will have set the pace, they can be sent home also.

Sherrill this is exactly why the commentator had me upset as I listened to how we will be sucking dry the American economy. If I had been allowed even the slightest input on the matter, it may be another story, but even then I doubt it as you can bet I would have never allowed the money to be used as it has been.

Because they (congress from the beginning of this plan) have insulated themselves from prosecution, our only means of doing anything about this is to, as I pointed out, get rid of them, and replace them with those that understand exactly who they work for.

I include BOTH parties in this, as both are guilty in this case. All I am asking from anyone is to be sure of who you send to Washington. Take an interest in them and if they do not do what we expect boot them at first chance. Don’t allow anyone to get so comfortable that they feel they can get away with this again.
